USA: ‘ GOOGLE MISSES PROFIT EXPECTATIONS & SHARES DROP ‘

RUSSIA: ‘ FINANCE MINISTER SAYS THEY WOULD NOT RULE OUT A BAIL-OUT TO GREECE ‘

#AceFinanceNews – RUSSIA: Jan.30: Greece hasn’t outright asked Russia for a loan, but Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said Moscow wouldn’t rule it out. His statement comes days after Greece openly opposed further economic sanctions against Russia.

"Well, we can imagine any situation, so if such [a] petition is submitted to the Russian government, we will definitely consider it, but we will take into account all the factors of our bilateral relationships between Russia and Greece, so that is all I can say. If it is submitted we will consider it," Siluanov told CNBC in an interview in Moscow on Thursday.

Russia-Greece Deal:

Russia gave Greece a very valuable card to play in the EU when it announced its South Stream pipeline will be re-routed through Turkey, with a gas hub expected to be built on the border between Turkey and Greece.

‘ FBI REPORTS EMAIL HACKING & INTERNET SCAMS COST BUSINESSES $215 MILLION ‘

#AceFinanceNews – Jan.29: Email hacking and scams cost businesses $215 million in just over year, according to FBI data reported by the security blog Krebs on Security.

The data spans from October 2013 to December 2014.

In the United States alone, the FBI reported 1,198 victims, totaling $179 billion in losses.

USA: ‘ US EQUITIES IN RED AS ENERGY SECTOR LEAD WAY ‘

#AceFinanceNews – USA:Jan.28: U.S. equities were washed in red at the closing bell Wednesday as the energy sector shed nearly 4% in the session, while materials and financials also led the way lower.

At 4:00 p.m. ET, according to preliminary calculations, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 191 points, or 1.1%, falling to 17197.

The S&P 500 shed 27 points, or 1.33% to 2002, while the Nasdaq fell 43 points, 0.93% to 43.51. All 10 S&P 500 sectors were in the red.

USA: ‘ MICROSOFT POSTS SECOND QUARTER EARNINGS WITH REVENUES TOPPING EXPECTATIONS ‘

#AceFinanceNews – USA:Jan.26: The technology titan Microsoft unveiled fiscal second-quarter earnings per share of 71 cents, including certain one-time items.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether the results were comparable to Wall Street expectations of 71 cents.

Revenues, meanwhile of $26.5 billion topped expectations calling for $26.29 billion.

Microsoft shares were 1.8% lower in after-hours trade.

MOSCOW: ‘ RUSSIA WANTS ITS ONE BILLION EUROS PAID IN ADVANCE FOR THE MISTRALS BACK OR THE SHIPS ‘

#AceFinanceNews – MOSCOW:Jan.24: Russia has paid a sum of about one billion euro under the Mistral purchase contract, Russian Deputy Defence Minister Yuri Borisov said on Saturday ./Tass/. reported.

“We want to have our money back, we have paid about one billion euro in advance,” he told the Russian News Service radio station.

He said Russia would accept any outcome. “If they hand over (the ships), we know how to use them. If they give back our money, we know how to use it too, but in either case it would have an adverse impact of the technical rearming of the Russian Navy,” Borisov said.
